A really lovely place. You can see how the owners really try to make your stay as good as possible. I also recommend the restaurant of the guest house, all the meals are freshly cooked.We booked a jungle trekking tour via our guesthouse and it was the best decision. Our guide Juju made this experience truly something special. You could just see how much he loves what he is doing and how much he sincerely cares about the nature.
We've had a wonderfull stay. The people were wonderfull to us. They picked us up in Bukit Lawang and brought our baggage to the guesthouse. They explained everything about the guesthouse and the activities we could do. We decided to do the 2 days trekking tour, which we really recommend. The guides know a lot about the nature and the animals, which we saw a lot. They provided very good assistence and they are more than kind.
One of the nicest places we stayed in Indonesia. Affordable and very clean rooms, great food and overall a nice place to hang out. The best are the people though. The staff is very supportive and friendly and is not shy to make stiff europeans sing and dance with them in the evening. Besides the stay in the guesthouse we booked a 2 day Trekking trip with them. Jojo as our main guide as well as the other guide and cook were amazing. It's amazing to see how much they care about the nature and wildlife, picking up trash that was left by others and generally knowing so much about their jungle. Besides that Jojo knows jungle magic... But find out about that yourself 😉
I can not recommend this place enough. This was one of my favourite places to stay in anywhere I've stayed on all of my travels. The location is perfect, up a very quaint little street along the river on the edge of the jungle where I spent my first night swinging in the hammock, enjoying the sound of the river and jungle.The staff here, however, are the main event. They are so welcoming and so lovely to talk to, they are all so funny and listening to the team sing songs one evening was great fun.The two day trek I did was absolutely fantastically organised, great food (if anything, too much on offer!) and we saw some fantastic animals.Thank you guys, I would have stayed for a month if I had the time! Hopefully see you next time 😀
